Leto i dijabetes

Kako nam je stiglo leto, želimo da vas podsetimo da povedete računa o sebi i vašem “slatkom” životnom saputniku dijabetsu


Ukoliko krećete na put potrebno je da sa sobom ponesete:
– Poslednji izveštaj endokrinologa na kome su navedene vaše terapije i doze lekova koje koristite, test trake i GlucaGen/HypoKit.
– Dovoljnu količinu lekova za period na koji putujete(možete poneti i malo više u slučaju da produžite odmor ili ne daj bože igubite ili zaboravite negde terapiju), kao i pen iglice ili potrošni materijal za insulinsku pumpicu i aplikator za kateter.
– Ukoliko koristite senzore za kontinuirano merenje šećera na put ponesite dovoljno zamenskih senzora za vreme trajanja putovanja, a poželjno je da preko senzora prelepite pojačanje flastera da se u vodi ne bi olako odlepili.
– Test tračice i aparat(ponesite i rezervni u slučaju da izgubite).
– GlucaGen, glukozni gel ili dextroze.
– Dobro je poneti i Octenisept, sterilnu gazu i zavoj u slučaju ako se povredite. Takođe dobro je poneti i probiotik, paracetamol.

Ukoliko putujete avionom, vašu terapiju OBAVEZNO stavite u ručni prtljag. Regulative za unošenje tečnosti i lekove u avion možete pročitati na sajtu avio kompanije sa kojom putujete. Za putovanje u inostranstvo poželjno je da uplatite zdravstveno putno osiguranje pri nekoj od osiguravajućih kuća.
Kako su velike vrućine moramo brinuti o skaldištenju insulina dok smo van smeštaja. 
– Za korisnike pen špriceva bilo bi dobro da se obezbede Frio torbice(koje se mogu pronaći u bolje snabdevenim apotekama).
– Korisnici insulinske pumpe treba da povedu računa da pumpa ne bude izložena direktno na suncu. Kada odlaze u more, reku, jezero ili bazen, da ne zaboravite da je skinete(ima slučaja kada su neki uskočili u more i bazen sa pumpicom) i stavite u torbu u hladovinu.
– Pre svakog ulaska u vodu ili ukoliko idet na planinarenje ili se bavite nekom drugom fizičkom aktivnošću obavezno izmerite nivo šećera u krvi (u slučaju da je niži šećer znate šta vam je činiti, popiti sok ili uzeti glukozni gel ili dextrozu ili nešto što ste poneli za slučaj hipoglikemije. 
Ukoliko je šećer visok uzmite korektivnu dozu, ali povedite računa da ne dođe do preklapanja sa prethodnom dozom insulina jer će te biti aktivni.
– Ukoliko će te biti duže fizički aktivni, bilo bi dobro da tokom trajanja aktivnosti napravite mini pauzu i još jednom proverite nivo šećera(za svaki slučaj).
Ne preskačite obroke, uzimanje terapije, proveru šećera i trudite se da prijete dovoljno vode, kako ne biste dehidrirali tokom vrelih dana.
I naravno ako boravite ceo dan napolju na suncu, nanesite neki zaštitni faktor kako ne biste izgoreli
